Search On For Suspects Who Tried To Lure Child In Suffern, Police Say Police are on the hunt for the suspects who allegedly attempted to lure a child into a vehicle in Suffern The incident took in the early afternoon Saturday in the Foxwood area of Suffern while a boy was walking his dog, the Suffern Police said on Facebook. According to the post, the child told police a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a sedan, pulled up next to him and a female passenger told him to get in the car. Deer Rescued After Getting Stuck On Lake Zoar Firefighters helped save a life on Sunday, of a deer, stuck on the ice. The incident took place around 11 a.m. when members of the Stevenson department received a call about a deer stuck on the ice on Lake Zoar in Monroe, the fire department said on Facebook. The deer, who was about 500 feet out, or halfway across the lake when rescuers arrived on the scene, had fallen and could not get back up after trying repeatedly. Wrong-Way Driver In Head-On Bronx River Parkway Crash Was Drunk, Police Say Westchester County Police arrested a 40-year-old man on Sunday night after he drove the wrong way on the Bronx River Parkway in Eastchester and slammed head-on into another car. The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. when Joseph Ayala of Yonkers, who was alone in his car, drove his 2015 Cadillac Escalade southbound in the northbound lanes of the Bronx River Parkway, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. Two Hospitalized After Raging Blaze Breaks Out At Multi-Family Home In Bridgeport A raging house fire at a Bridgeport multi-family home sent two people to the hospital, including a firefighter. The fire took place around 11 a.m. Sunday at the three-story residence at 66 Garfield Ave., said Bridgeport Fire Department Deputy Chief Executive Officer Lance Edwards. Accountant Accused Of Bilking Client From Stamford A tax preparer was arrested for allegedly using money from one of her Stamford client's to pay for her personal car insurance. Rayne Parker-Tenore, 51, of the Bronx, allegedly took advantage of her client's finances to open an insurance policy in 94-year-old father's name that ran more than $12,700 over two years, according to the Stamford Advocate. Second Crash Into Pole Near House Sparks Concern For Westchester Resident When an alleged drunk driver slammed into a utility pole earlier this week, splitting the pole in half and sending a ball of fire flying, it was the last straw for Adam Kanzer. Spring Valley Woman Injures Another During Fight After Throwing Glass Bottle A 19-year-old woman was arrested by police for attacking another woman causing injuries that required medical attention.
