Search On For Suspects Who Tried To Lure Child In Suffern, Police Say Police are on the hunt for the suspects who allegedly attempted to lure a child into a vehicle in Suffern The incident took in the early afternoon Saturday in the Foxwood area of Suffern while a boy was walking his dog, the Suffern Police said on Facebook. Deer Rescued After Getting Stuck On Lake Zoar Firefighters helped save a life on Sunday, of a deer, stuck on the ice. The incident took place around 11 a.m. when members of the Stevenson department received a call about a deer stuck on the ice on Lake Zoar in Monroe, the fire department said on Facebook. The deer, who was about 500 feet out, or halfway across the lake when rescuers arrived on the scene, had fallen and could not get back up after trying repeatedly.
