Two-Alarm House Fire Breaks Out In Poughkeepsie A two-alarm fire at a two-story, four-apartment City of Poughkeepsie building left 10 residents homeless. The fire, that started around 7:56 a.m. Tuesday at 123 Winnikee Ave., in Poughkeepsie, began on the second floor of the building and by the time the fire was out, the entire building had been devasted. All four apartments were rented to tenants who managed to escape safely without injuries, according to City of Poughkeepsie Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Franco. 15-Year-Old Charged In Poughkeepsie Shooting Of Two A 15-year-old teen has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting of two men in broad daylight in the City of Poughkeepsie. The teen, a City of Poughkeepsie resident, was arrested around 2 p.m. Tuesday by the City of Poughkeepsie Police and is being held in a detention center without bail, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark. Four Major Drug Traffickers Taken Down, 25 Others Arrested During Raids In Area In a dramatic movie-style series of raids, a total of 29 people were arrested Tuesday during a drug enforcement action dubbed "Operation Bread, White and Blues." Details Emerge After Body Of Woman Found Along Road In Greenwich Greenwich police are working to identify a woman whose body was found bound at the hands and feet and stuffed in a suitcase by town highway workers along a roadway early Tuesday, according to multiple sources. New Canaan High School Student Charged In Snapchat Threat A 17-year-old New Canaan High School student has been charged with breach of peace after posting a threatening snapchat with a photograph of another student who appeared to be holding a gun. Stolen Vehicles Recovered In Trumbull Trumbull Police recovered two stolen vehicles, arrested one juvenile, and detained two others after they stopped a vehicle exiting the Trumbull Mall last week.
