21-Year-Old Charged In Hit-Run That Seriously Injured Man On Morning Run
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash of a pedestrian that was seriously injured.
Ismael Ramos, of Port Jervis, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 31, and charged with leaving the scene of a serious injury accident and failure to keep right, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.
The incident took place around 7 a.m. Jan. 8 when Robert Ruscher, 62, of Greenville, was on a morning run along Monahan Road in Greenville when he was struck by a vehicle in the 100 block of the roadway, Nevel said.

Caught: Home Invasion, Kidnapping Suspect In Custody After Search Includes NY, CT
A multiple-state manhunt that included New York and Connecticut, resulted in the arrest of a Massachusetts man late Wednesday night in Key West, Florida.
The man, from Bedford, Massachusetts, had been on the run for an alleged home invasion and kidnapping that spanned three states.
According to the Massachusetts U.S. Attorney's Office, Julian Field, 24, was nabbed by FBI and local law enforcement and charged in connection with the kidnapping that began in Concord, Massachusetts and ended in Connecticut.

Man Sentenced For Fatal Wallkill BMW Crash That Killed 30-Year-Old Man
A man who was driving high when he killed a Town of Wallkill man in a crash has been sentenced to five to 15 years in prison.
Robinson Perez, 31, of Manhattan, was sentenced Wednesday, Feb. 6, in connection with the fatal crash which occurred on July 16, 2017, that killed Dustin Mills, 30, of Middletown, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
The victim was killed when the car that he had been driving on Route 17M, in the Town of Wallkill, was struck at high speed by a car driven by Perez, the DA's Office said.
