Bone Found At Seaside Park Not Human, Police Say A bone found at Seaside Park on Thursday, Feb. 28 in Bridgeport has been determined not to be human. Bridgeport police rushed to the scene after a call came in around 3:43 p.m. Thursday from a person saying they believed they had found a human bone on the beach. A marine unit and a patrol officer responded to the site, along with detectives. The bone was spotted near the P.T. Barnum statue, police said. Early Friday, Capt. Man Stole $6K Worth Of Eyeglass Frames In Westport, Police Say A man who allegedly stole 12 pairs of eyeglass frames worth more than $6,000 from a Westport store was identified by a tip on a police department's Facebook page.
