Woman In Danger Of Losing An Eye After Bridgeport Stabbing A woman is in danger of losing an eye after she was stabbed during an incident in Bridgeport. Bridgeport Police learned of the attack that took place on Wednesday, May 8, at Putnam and Park streets after being alerted by walked into Bridgeport Hospital for help, said Terron Jones, of the Bridgeport Police Department. Man Jumps To His Death Off Bridge On I-84 A man is dead after jumping off an I-84 bridge, closing part of the highway. The incident took place around 8 a.m., Thursday, May 9, in Manchester, Connecticut, said a Connecticut State Police spokesperson. Interstate 84 is closed westbound to 1-292 to allow for an investigation, they added. The body was found alongside the highway between Exits 58 and 59.
