Fire Rips Through Home In East Fishkill An East Fishkill family lost everything in a fire that ravaged the home on Queen Anne Lane. The fire, which started around 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 16, was first reported as a tractor fire, but when East Fishkill firefighters arrived on scene they found the 3,500-square-foot home was engulfed in smoke and flames, said department officials. IDs Released For Victims In Double-Fatal I-84 Crash Two people who were killed in a single-vehicle crash on a busy stretch of I-84 during the morning commute have been identified. The crash took place around 6:41 a.m., Friday, May 17, on westbound I-84, when a Dodge Journey left the roadway and entered the enter median and struck a tree, said New York State Police Spokesman Steven Nevel. Kodi Zwolinski, of Ridge, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Route 25A, just east of the William Floyd Parkway, when his motorcycle rear-ended a 2001 Ford pickup driven by Marie Panhorst at approximately 12:20 p.m., Thursday, May 16, said the Suffolk County Police.
