According to Nenni, one person was killed and several were injured in the crash. The road, from Lattintown Road to Old Post Road, was closed for hours while the investigation continued. The incident took place around 4:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, when the five suspects, one displaying a weapon, broke in and attempted to rob the Chaves Bakery at 865 Madison Ave. in Bridgeport, said Bridgeport Police Spokesman Terron Jones.
