The incident happened around 9:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at the intersection of North Cole Avenue and Stephens Place, said Spring Valley Police Officer Matthew Galli. Five-Car Commack Crash Sends Two People To Hospital A five-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital on Long Island. The crash took place around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, July 18, at the intersection of Larkfield Road and the Jericho Turnpike in Commack, said the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Multiple patients were assessed for possible injury, but it determined that only two people had injuries, the department said.  Both patients were transported to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries. The Commack Fire Department and Suffolk County Police Department are handling the investigation.

Man With Loaded Gun Urinates On Gas Station In Area, Police Say A man caught urinating on the side of a gas station found himself in the Dutchess County Jail. Cody Warner, of Lauderdale, Mississippi, was arrested on Sunday, July 14, after Town of Fishkill Police Officer John Hurtado saw him urinating on the side of Flory's Gas Station, located on Route 9 in the Village of Fishkill, Chief James Schepperly said. Warner was also carrying a loaded 45-caliber Ruger handgun, police said. He was charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon.
