Police Warning: Man Exposes Genitals To Exercisers On Trail In Rockland Police are warning residents who use a popular trail in Rockland to be on the lookout for a man who has exposed his genitals to joggers on two occasions. The department received a report of the first incident around 11:30 a.m. on June 29, when a jogger was north on Hader Trail between the villages of South Nyack and Piermont, said Chief Daniel Wilson. Norwalk Fire Destroys Truck, Sends One Firefighter To ER A pickup truck and some fertilizer were destroyed during a structure fire in Norwalk that sent one firefighter to the emergency room. The fire took place around 9:27 a.m., Friday, July 19, at 320 Martin Luther King Drive at the Tough Lawn business, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Todd Smith. 14-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Pickup Truck In Rockland A 14-year-old Spring Valley teen was seriously injured after being hit by a pickup truck. The incident happened around 9:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at the intersection of North Cole Avenue and Stephens Place, said Spring Valley Police Officer Matthew Galli. According to Galli, the crash happened when the 14-year-old was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a 2019 Dodge 1500 pickup truck that was being driven by a 20-year-old Spring Valley resident. Five-Car Commack Crash Sends Two People To Hospital A five-vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital on Long Island. The crash took place around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, July 18, at the intersection of Larkfield Road and the Jericho Turnpike in Commack, said the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Multiple patients were assessed for possible injury, but it determined that only two people had injuries, the department said. Both patients were transported to Huntington Hospital with minor injuries. The Commack Fire Department and Suffolk County Police Department are handling the investigation.

Woman Nabbed For Stealing Wallet At Westport Store, Making Large Purchase, Police Say Westport Police extradited a Massachusetts woman back to Connecticut after she was allegedly identified as one of three people wanted for stealing a wallet and attempting to use the credit cards inside, police said. Man Charged With Sexually Abusing 10-Year-Old While Babysitting In Bethel A 42-year-old man was arrested after a 10-year-old reported that the "babysitter" had allegedly sexually assaulted them. Nathan Shupp, of Bethel, was arrested around 4:45 p.m., Wednesday, Jully 17, by Bethel Police on an active warrant for sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, said the Bethel Police Department.
