Man Stopped For Possible Hit-Run Nabbed For Cocaine Possession, Police Say A Stratford man stopped for a suspected hit-and-run ended up being busted for alleged possession of cocaine. Mark T. Fabrizi, 28, was arrested after being stopped around 10:09 a.m., Sunday, July 21, said Fairfield Police Capt. Robert Kalamaras. During the traffic stop, Fabrizi admitted to officers that he had several grams of cocaine in his pocket.  In addition, a narcotics K-9, also incidicated the presence of a narcotic odor, he said. Several Remain Hospitalized After 12 Injured In Stratford Crash, Police Say Several people remained hospitalized following a head-on crash of two minivans in Stratford that injured 12 people over the weekend. The crash took place around 1 p.m., Saturday, July 20, near the intersection of Main Street and Putney Valley Way, Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti said. The injured, including some children, were transported to St Vincent's and Bridgeport hospitals.  The crash remains under investigation.
