Women Ejected From Vehicle During Fiery Bridgeport Crash, Police Say A woman was ejected from her burning vehicle during a crash on Route 25 in Bridgeport. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, when the woman lost control of her vehicle while traveling southbound on Route 25 just before the split in the highway near exit 5, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. The woman was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over and then brust into flames, Jones said. She was rescued by members of the Bridgeport Fire Department and was transported by ambulance to the hospital, he added.  Her condition is unknown. …

Highland Man Nabbed For Allegedly Stealing $1,800 In Jewelry, Police Say A Highland man has been arrested for allegedly ripping off some $1,800 in jewelry. Dominick Teroni Jr., 45, was arrested by Town of Lloyd Police after he was accused of entering another person's home and stealing the jewelry, Town of Lloyd police said. Teroni was charged with felony burglary, grand larceny, and petit larceny. He was arraigned before the Town of Lloyd Judge Eugene Rizzo and is being held at the Ulster County Jail without bail.
