Man Nabbed In Citgo Gas Station Burglary/Robbery, Police Say
A 47-year-old man was nabbed for an alleged early morning robbery and damage to a Stratford Citgo Gas station.
The incident took place around 115 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the station located at 805 Main Street, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
Based on surveillance video, during the robbery, the suspect, Matthew Russell Walsh, of Wethersfield, caused approximately $2,000 dollars in damage to the business and stole $300 dollars worth of merchandise, Eannotti said.

Norwalk Woman Missing Since Sunday Has Been Found

A Norwalk woman who went missing on Sunday, Oct. 13 has been found.
Hyacinth McNichol, 80, was located in Norwalk, Norwalk Police announced on Wednesday morning, Oct. 16.

Police are asking the public for help locating a woman who has been missing since Sunday, Oct. 13.
A Silver Alert has been issued for 80-year-old Hyacinth McNichol who was last seen in Norwalk on Sunday, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.
Described as being 5-foot-4, 150 pounds with brown eyes, and graying hair, McNichol suffers from medical conditions and has ties to Bridgeport. …
Netflix Filming Movie At Library In Hudson Valley
Big-time Hollywood stars are in the Hudson Valley this week filming a new Netflix movie at a local library, but they won't be doing much reading.
According to Deadline, the movie, "Things Heard And Seen," an adaptation of the book "All Things Cease to Appear," by Elizabeth Brundage, will bring the likes of James Norton, Amanda Seyfried, Natalia Dyer, and Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham, to Dutchess County beginning Monday, Oct. 14, and running through the week.

Services have been announced for a Pearl River High School student-athlete killed in a horrific multi-vehicle crash.
A wake will be held from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, at F. Ruggiero & Sons Funeral Home, 732 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, for Altin Nezaj, 17, who died during a crash on Sunday, Oct. 13, that also killed another teen and critically injured another.
The funeral is planned for Wednesday, Oct. 16, although the time has yet to be announced, according to the funeral home.

Man Facing Charges After Altercation With Juvenile In Westport
A man was arrested after allegedly getting into a fight with a juvenile in Westport, according to police.
Gerald Seitz, 71, was arrested around 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, after Westport Police officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance involving physical violence, said the Westport Police Department.
When officers arrived on the scene, they learned that Seitz had allegedly been involved in an altercation with the juvenile on two occasions including one on Friday, Oct. 11, police said.
