Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Will Once Again Come From Hudson Valley

For the second time in as many years, the famous Rockefeller Christmas tree is coming from the Hudson Valley.
The center announced on Instagram on Monday, Oct. 21, that this year's twinkling giant of a tree is a Norway spruce that hails from the Village of Florida in Orange County.
Although they haven't released the details on the tree's height and owners, the center did say the tree will be cut down on Thursday, Nov. 7, and will arrive by truck at Rockefeller Center on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Jennifer Lopez is back at it -- acting -- that is, and she's returned to Westchester to shoot scenes for her latest movie.
The Bronx-raised star, who of course is engaged to ARod, is filming scenes for her new film, "Marry Me," at Purchase College, all day Monday, Oct. 21, according to OnLocationVacation.com.

Man Charged With Violating Order Of Protection In Yorktown, Police Say
A 43-year-old man was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order among other charges by texting and calling the victim numerous times.
Valentine Arvelo, of Tarrytown, was arrested around 5:50 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, after the victim went to Yorktown Police Headquarters to file a complaint, said the Yorktown Police.
According to police, Arvelo allegedly violating the order of protection by calling and texting the victims multiple times, causing fear and alarm, police said.

Man Nabbed For DWI/Drugs At Area Gas Station
A 64-year-old man was arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs at an Orangeburg gas station.
Ralph Gibbons, of Blauvelt, was arrested around 12:38 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, after Orangetown Police responded to the Shell Service Station at 75 Dutch Hill Road in Orangeburg, for a report of an intoxicated driver, said Orangetown Police Sgt. Joseph Sullivan.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Gibbons standing beside a white 2017 Nissan Sentra.
