Pickup Truck Fire Breaks Out At Commercial Building In Area Firefighters quickly doused a pickup truck fire in a Bridgeport garage. The fire started early Monday, Oct. 21,  at 118 Burr Court, at a building owned by ACV Enviro, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport fire and police. The first responding fire department unit reported a pickup truck on fire inside the garage with offices on top floors, Jones said The fire was extinguished and kept to the garage area. Woman Dies After Driving Vehicle Into Hudson River, Police Say A woman has died after driving her vehicle into the Hudson River in Westchester. The incident took place around 12:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, near a riverside park in Verplanck, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. The woman was discovered in the car in about 10 feet of water by divers from Yorktown Heights, he said.
