Three Alleged Drug Dealers Busted In Westchester Three people were arrested for alleged cocaine sales after being seen making a deal by members of the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force. Worker Trimming Tree Branch Injured When Bucket Truck Rolls Over, Police Say A worker cutting down a tree limb was injured when the bucket truck he was suspended in rolled over onto its side. The incident took place around 1:14 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, on Blue Hills Drive in Ulster County in the town of Saugerties, said Saugerties Chief of Police Joseph Sinagra. More Than Two Dozen Nabbed In Major Long Island Drug Ring Bust Two dozen people have been arrested in connection with an alleged drug distribution ring operating primarily on the Shinnecock Reservation. Woman Arrested In Connection With Norwalk Heroin Overdose A Norwalk woman has been arrested for allegedly providing the heroin laced with fentanyl that almost killed an area man. Dulcie Tamburri, 64, was arrested on a warrant on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and charged with the sale of narcotics and reckless endangerment, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake. Man Tased After Resisting Arrest, Attempting To Escape From Officers, Police Say A 30-year-old Nanuet man was arrested by Ramapo police, but not before being tased to get him under control. The incident took place around 5:45 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, when officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on S. Pascack Road, in the Village of Chestnut Ridge, the department said. Brother Of Man Killed Riding Lawn Mower On Route 17 Charged In His Death The older brother of a man who was killed while the two were riding a lawn mower on Route 17 and hit by a vehicle has been charged with causing his death. Police Investigating Bomb Threats Made To Bridgeport Synagogue Bridgeport Police have evacuated an area synagogue after the department received two bomb threats by phone. The incident took place around 2:11 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, at Congregation B'nai Israel, at 2710 Park Ave., after two bomb threat calls were received, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. Suspect In Murder Of Woman At Apartment Complex Nabbed Out Of State, Returned To Area A man wanted in connection with the brutal murder earlier this month of an area woman has been captured out of state and returned to the Hudson Valley. Luis Rondon, 48, was captured in California last week after a manhunt that began after the body of Deborah Waldinger was found on Wednesday, Oct. 9, said Town of New Windsor Police Deputy Chief Michael Farbent. Child Contracts Measles In Fairfield County, Health Officials Say The Connecticut State Department of Public Health has confirmed that the fourth case of measles has been confirmed this year, this time in a school-age child from Fairfield County. "The public health investigation of this case has determined that the child was not infectious while at school," the department said Friday, Oct. 25.
