Two Women From Fairfield County Flee Salon In Stolen Vehicle, Police Say Two area women are behind bars after attempting to flee a salon in a stolen vehicle after their credit card was denied. Chyna Blair, 20, of Stamford, and Dominique Mariah Jackson, 22, of Shelton, were arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 29, after police discovered they were allegedly driving a stolen vehicle, said Greenwich Police Lt John Slusarz. The incident began when they were attempting to pay for salon services and their credit card was denied. Police Searching For Vehicle Stolen From Driveway Of Ridgefield Home Ridgefield police are searching for one of two cars stolen in town overnight.  One incident took place during the early morning hours on Wednesday, Oct. 30, on Conley Court, said Ridgefield Police Capt. Shawn Platt. One of the vehicles, a red Ford Focus, was recovered abandoned in Bridgeport, Platt said. The second, a gray Toyota Sequoia, has not been recovered, he said.  Both vehicles were unlocked with the keys inside.  If anyone has any information regarding these cases they are asked to contact the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.

Police Searching For Armed Bank Robber In White Truck Police are asking the public for help locating a man who allegedly robbed an area Trustco Bank at gunpoint. The robbery took place in Fishkill around 11:59 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, when the man walked into the bank at 1545 Route 52 and demanded money while using a gun, said Town of Fishkill Police Lt. Woman Busted For Selling Xanax, Stamford Police Say A Xanax peddler was nabbed by the Stamford Police narc squad after learning she was selling in the area. Ashley Keeler, 30, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, Oct. 25, after officers with the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit set up surveillance on her Mohegan Avenue home, said Stamford Police Capt. Update: Suspicious Packages Left Behind By Vendor At Metro-North Station In Westchester A full force of police along with a bomb squad turned out when four suspicious packages were found at a Metro-North station in Westchester. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 24 Station Plaza N., said MTA officials. Members of the Westchester County Bomb Squad and MTA Police Canine Unit cleared the package by 4:30 p.m., said MTA Spokeswoman Meredith Daniels.  According to Daniels, the packages were left behind by a vendor.

Search On For Suspect After Woman Raped While Walking Home, Stamford Police Say Police are looking for a man who raped a woman who had been walking home and are asking the public for help. Stamford Police Sgt. Jennifer Lynch said a woman in her 20s was raped around 12:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, while walking home in the area of East Main Street and Lockwood Avenue. The woman, who went to the hospital following the attack, was able to provide police with a basic description of her attacker, Lynch said. Roadway Reopens Following Two-Vehicle Crash With Injuries In Northern Westchester Goat Trail at Route 202 (Bear Mountain Bridge Road) has reopened following a two-vehicle crash that injured several people in Cortlandt. The crash took place around 3 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29 near the overlook, New York State Police said. Goat Trail was closed for a time for emergency responders to attend to the injured. It has since reopened, but some delays exist, state police said. Officers were not sure of the number of injured or the severity of injuries.
