Man Nabbed For Fraudulent Use Of Credit Card, Forgery, Police Say A 36-year-old man wanted on a host of charges ranging from forgery to ID theft was arrested by Greenwich Police. Michael Clennon, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and extradited back to Greenwich, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz. Clennon was wanted for an incident in April in which several people allegedly entered a local business and made purchases using a fraudulent credit card, Slusarz said. Bridgeport Police said the victim, who lives upstate, met with a potential buyer on Richardson Street in Bridgeport on Monday, Oct. 28, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. Two Long Island Gas Station Robberies Could Be Linked, Police Say Suffolk County detectives are working to determine if two robberies that occurred just hours, and miles, apart are related. The first robbery took place around 7:35 p.m., Monday, Oct. 28, when a man walked into USA Gas, at 188 N. Wellwood Ave., in Lindenhurst, and demanded money. He left the store with cash, Suffolk County Police said. Roughly four hours later, a man robbed the Exxon, at 570 Sunrise Highway, in West Islip, police said. The man left with cash in the second robbery as well. Anyone with information on either robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.

Police Searching For Vehicle Stolen From Driveway Of Ridgefield Home Ridgefield police are searching for one of two cars stolen in town overnight.  One incident took place during the early morning hours on Wednesday, Oct. 30, on Conley Court, said Ridgefield Police Capt. Shawn Platt. One of the vehicles, a red Ford Focus, was recovered abandoned in Bridgeport, Platt said. Woman Busted For Selling Xanax, Stamford Police Say A Xanax peddler was nabbed by the Stamford Police narc squad after learning she was selling in the area.
