Man Found Murdered In Home Near Area High School, Police Say
Police are investigating the murder of an Ulster County man who was found dead in a home.
Myron T. Moye, 36, of Kingston, was found around 2 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, at a home on West O’Reilly Street after police received a 911 call, said the Kingston Police.
Responding officers found Moye and began administering first aid until he was transported by emergency medical services to Health Alliance Broadway Campus where he was pronounced dead.
The crime scene, which is close to Kingston High School, prompted the department to notify the school system.

Police Find Danbury Man Unconscious In His Vehicle At Intersection In Newtown
A Fairfield County man was arrested after police found him unconscious in his vehicle at an intersection.
Richard Timms, 43, of Danbury, was found around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, by Newtown Police officers in the area of Glenmore Drive and Dylan Drive, said the Newtown Police.
Following an investigation, Timms was found to be in possession of narcotics and did not have a valid driver's license, police said.
He was charged with possession of narcotics, DUI/drugs, and driving without a license.
Timms was released on a $1,000 bond.

Heavy rain and strong winds with hazardous gusts caused significant damage in Nassau and Suffolk counties, leaving some 17,368 customers without power.
The storm brought down large trees, branches, and wires, affecting more than 49,000 of 1.1 million customers, PSEG officials said.
As of 4 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, more than 55 percent of customers affected have been restored, leaving 17,368 without power, the company said.
Crews have been working all night in dangerous conditions to assess the damage and make repairs, companies officials said.

Strong wind gusts Halloween evening toppled trees and limbs onto powerlines, interrupting electric service to approximately 40,000 customers of Central Hudson and NYSEG.
Central Hudson officials said they have mobilized repair crews and support staff to address the more than 500 damage locations as a result of the storm, and as of 8:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, 30,000 outages are reported, including 17,000 in Dutchess County and 13,000 in Ulster and Sullivan counties.
