The crash took place around 6:53 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, westbound near Exit 53, said the Suffolk County Police. Police did not know the extent of the injuries but did say all five drivers were taken to area hospitals. The crash is under investigation by detectives. This continues to be a developing story. Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing On Long Island Beach A small plane made an emergency landing on a Long Island beach, just miles from an airport, according to police. The incident took place around 2:25 p.m., Monday, Nov. 4, when Nassau County Police received a call that a plane needed to make an emergency landing on the beach in Point Lookout, police said. Officials said the Cessna 150 was able to land successfully on the beach near Garden City Avenue, police said. The plane was reportedly headed for Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip. Employees At Long Island Bar Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Say Two employees of a popular Long Island bar were robbed at gunpoint by two men. Suffolk County Police said the incident took place around 430 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at Vanderbilts Wharf at 445s Vanderbilt Blvd., in Oakdale. The fire began around 8:45 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at a home on Ravenwood Road, said Norwalk Fire Deputy Chief Todd Smith. When Norwalk firefighters arrived on the scene they found a raised, ranch house with fire billowing through the roof, the front door, and from the right side of the house, Smith said. The Golden Rail Ale House in Newburgh surprised all with an announcement on Facebook that it would be closed all day on Monday, Nov. 4, for the filming of "yet another movie." The bar, located at 29 Old North Plank Road, was the site of filming earlier this year for the movie "Trick,"  starring Omar Epps and Jamie Kennedy. It's out now and available On Demand.
