Group Of Teens Assault Man Near Pizzeria In Black Rock Police are searching for a group of teens who allegedly robbed a man walking home from a pizza restaurant in the Black Rock area. The alleged robbery took place around 6:56 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, when a 31-year-old man was walking home from Fire Engine Pizza Company when he was confronted by four teens, said Terron Jones spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. The fire began around 8:45 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at a home on Ravenwood Road, said Norwalk Fire Deputy Chief Todd Smith. When Norwalk firefighters arrived on the scene they found a raised, ranch house with fire billowing through the roof, the front door, and from the right side of the house, Smith said. The Golden Rail Ale House in Newburgh surprised all with an announcement on Facebook that it would be closed all day on Monday, Nov. 4, for the filming of "yet another movie." Woman Shot At Bridgeport Housing Complex Police are investigating the shooting of a woman at an area apartment complex. The Bridgeport Police Department said that the incident took place around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Greene Homes apartments.
