Injury Suffered By Deputy More Serious Than Originally Thought, Putnam Sheriff Says A Putnam County Sheriff's deputy who was stabbed during an incident in Putnam Valley suffered injuries that were more serious than originally thought. According to Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr., the unnamed deputy underwent two surgeries.
