An 18-year-old was shot and killed and another man injured during a shooting at a Bridgeport apartment complex.
Bridgeport Police were notified of a shooting by the Shot-Spotter around 5:37 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, on Highland Avenue, said Bridgeport Police Capt. Brian Fitzgerald.

Police are investigating the shooting of a 16-year-old girl in the head while a passenger in a vehicle in Bridgeport.
The shooting took place around 1 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, in the area of James Street and Calhoun Avenue, said Scott Appleby, director of Office of Emergency Management for the City of Bridgeport.

Second Man Admits To Role In Gunpoint Area Robbery
A second man has pleaded guilty to the gunpoint robbery of a 67-year-old man who was locked in the trunk of his vehicle in the area.
Orange County resident Justin White, 30, of Port Jervis, pleaded guilty on Thursday, Jan. 23, robbery in connection with the August 2018 crime, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
White had previously pleaded guilty to rape for having sex with an underage girl, the DA's Office said.
He faces up to 17 years in prison when he is sentenced in March.

A 22-year-old man was arrested for allegedly attacking a female employee at a Westfield Trumbull Mall restaurant.
Shaire Bascome, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 5 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 19 by Trumbull Police, said Lt. Brian Weir.
