Man Charged With ID Theft, Series Of Burglaries, Police Say A 45-year-old area man is being held without bail following an investigation into numerous burglary and grand larceny incidents in the area. Dutchess County resident William A. Pascal, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 27, by Town of Poughkeepsie Police on five counts of burglary, said Capt. Michael O’Dowd. Westchester County Police received a call shortly before 11:30 a.m., Sunday, March 1, reporting a burglary was in progress at 68 Maple Avenue, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the department. Search On For Attempted Robbery Suspect, Police Say Police are searching for a suspect in a reported attempted robbery that so far hasn't yielded any results. The incident took place around 6 p.m., Sunday, March 1 in the Jewett and Goldenrod Avenue area in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport's Office Emergency Of Management. Bridgeport police searched the area and requested a K-9 officer from state police, but a suspect has not been located, Appleby said. Truck Overturns, Dumps Cement On Long Island Roadway A Long Island roadway has reopened after a cement truck overturned spilling fluids. The single-vehicle crash took place around 11:10 a.m., Monday, March 2, on Sheridan Boulevard, in Inwood, said the Nassau County Police. The crash dumped cement and fluids on the roadway, causing a call to hazmat officials and the Inwood Fire Department who worked to clear the roadway. The roadway reopened around 12:30 p.m., police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Obdulio Chacon, of Nyack, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 28, by New York State Police following an investigation, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
