Tech Entrepreneur From Hudson Valley Found Dismembered Inside Luxury NYC Condo
A well-known tech start-up executive from the Hudson Valley was found dismembered, his body parts stuffed in garbage bags, inside his luxury Manhattan apartment.
Longtime Dutchess County resident Fahim Saleh, 33, a 2005 graduate of John Jay High School in East Fishkill, was found by police around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 14, inside his residence at 265 East Houston St., according to the NYPD.
Saleh, who was born in Saudi Arabia, moved with his parents to the Poughkeepsie area in his early teens.
Police said his death has been ruled a homicide but released little other information.

Dog Who Bit Boy At New Canaan Park Found
After two days of worrying, a dog that bit a 12-year-old boy at a Fairfield County park has been located.
The incident took place around 6:30 p.m., Monday, July 13, at the Kiwanis Park in New Canaan.
The boy, of New Canaan, was bitten by one of two leashed dogs in the park, said New Canaan Police Animal Control Officer Allyson Halm.

ID Released For Person Killed After Minivan Is Rear-Ended In Westchester, Police Say
A 63-year-old man killed during a three-vehicle crash in Westchester has been identified by police.
Yong Sheng Yin, of Queens, was killed around 1:22 p.m., Monday, July 13, during the crash in Yonkers, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.
According to investigators, the crash occurred when a 2017 Toyota Sienna, driven by Besim Shala, 44, of Brewster, rear-ended a 2010 Honda Odyssey van, operated by Jerry Zang, 57, of Queens, in the right-hand lane.

Man Allegedly Points Gun At Woman With Child In Room, State Police Say
A 31-year-old Hudson Valley man was arrested after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun during a domestic dispute with a child in the area.
Ulster County resident Aaron Croulet, 31 of Highland, was charged on Sunday, July 12, by New York State Police after officers responded to the domestic dispute, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
Croulet, who was charged with menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal possession of a weapon, allegedly threatened a victim who called the police and reported that he had allegedly pointed a gun at her, Nevel said.
