Westchester Woman Nabbed Stealing Seafood From Fairfield County Supermarket, Police Say A Westchester County woman was arrested for allegedly stealing almost $200 worth of seafood from a Fairfield County grocery store. Niesha Willis, 34, of Valhalla, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 22, by Greenwich Police for allegedly stealing from a central Greenwich supermarket, police said. Willis was arrested after police responded to the market on West Putnam Avenue for a report that a larceny had just occurred. Duo From Westchester, Rockland Accused Of Withdrawing Money Using Fake ID Two Hudson Valley men -- one from Westchester and the other from Rockland -- have been arrested for allegedly attempting to close an Orange County bank account that didn't belong to them that had more than $200,000. Man Turns Himself In After Road-Rage Incident In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County man turned himself in to police in connection with a road rage incident in which he allegedly threatened another driver. Eric Berkeley, 59, of Stamford, turned himself in to New Canaan Police on Tuesday, Dec. 29 on an active arrest warrant stemming from a road rage incident that occurred in November, said Lieutenant Jason Ferraro. Police Searching For Man Who Snatched Purse From Woman In CT Grocery Store Parking Lot Police are searching for a man who allegedly snatched a woman's purse as she put her groceries in her vehicle. The incident took place around 11:55 a.m., Monday, Dec. 28, in the parking lot of the Stop & Shop, located at 100 Division Street, in Ansonia, said Lt. Patrick Lynch. Driver Escapes Car Fire On I-95 Stretch In Fairfield Firefighters quickly put out a vehicle fire on I-95 in the area of Exit 19. The incident took place in the evening on Monday, Dec. 28 in Fairfield. Responding firefighters found the vehicle on fire and the driver outside of the car, said the Fairfield County Fire Department. Man Arrested For Violating Protective Order For Third Time In Greenwich A man was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order for the third time in Fairfield County. Esteban Sabourne, age 67, of Bridgeport, was arrested by Greenwich Police on Sunday, Dec. 27, for the third time violating a protective order, police said. Young Hudson Valley Man Falls Victim To Romance Scam, Loses Thousands Police are investigating a case where a young man fell victim to a romance scam. The woman in Rockland County told the man she was corresponding with through a dating app she needed some financial assistance with a business matter, Ramapo Police said. The woman said she would mail him a check to deposit into his bank account, and that he needed to mail back a check for a lesser amount – in essence, he was allowed to keep the difference for his trouble. CT Woman Arrested For Punching Another Female In Head Numerous Times A Connecticut woman was arrested for allegedly punching another woman in the head numerous times. Ivy Santos, 18, of West Haven, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 28, after Milford Police responded to a parking lot at the Connecticut Post Mall for a report of an assault, said the Milford Police. An investigation by officers found that Santos allegedly punched another woman numerous times in the side of the head and in the face.
