Man Charged With Stealing Identity Of CT Resident To Purchase Vehicle, Police Say
A 36-year-old man was arrested in Connecticut for allegedly fraudulently purchasing a vehicle using another person's identity.
Dary Fermin, of the Bronx, was arrested on Sunday, Jan. 24, by the Milford Police after being contacted by the New York Police Department Fraud Squad for an incident that took place on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.

CT Man Admits To Assaulting USPS Worker
A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to assaulting a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier after making sexual advances while inside her postal vehicle.
Demorse Kelley, age 39, of Hartford, pleaded guilty on Thursday, Jan. 21, for the Friday, June 7, 2019, event in Hartford, said John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on June 7, a postal letter carrier was sorting mail inside her delivery van that was parked on Sigourney Street in Hartford.

CT Man Nabbed For Murdering Girl 16 Years After Crime, Police Say
Police have arrested a Connecticut man for the murder of a teenage girl 16 years after she was found strangled to death in a basement stairwell.
Willie Robinson, age 52, of Waterbury, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 29, following a decades-long investigation into the slaying.
The crime took on Friday, June 1, 2004, around 1:13 p.m. at 23-25 Pearl St., said Lieutenant David Silverio of the Waterbury Police.

A man violently assaulted a Fairfield County woman he didn't know after opening her car door and dragging her outside of the vehicle at an area McDonald's, police say.
The attack took place on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the restaurant located 268 West Putnam Ave. in Greenwich.

Man Wanted For $60,000 Jewelry Burglary Nabbed By Police In Fairfield County
A man allegedly involved in a $60,000 jewelry heist from a Fairfield County home has been nabbed by police for failing to appear in court.
Franco Saladrigas-Garcia, 27, of the Bronx, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 26, by Westport Police on an outstanding warrant, said Lt. David Wolf.
Saladrigas-Garcia was wanted in connection with a burglary that took place on Saturday, April 11 at 9:52 p.m., police responded to a home on the report of a burglary in which more than $60,000 had been stolen, police said.
