Bridgeport Teen On Life Support Following Shooting A 19-year-old man shot in the head has been put on life support, according to the Bridgeport Police. The shooting took place around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 in the area of Palisade Avenue and Birdsey Street, police said. Responding officers found the teen on Price Street, said police spokesman Av Harris. An officer in the area at the time said he heard about eight shots. Initially, the shooting had been reported as the city's second homicide of the year. Three-Car Crash On Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge Cleared A crash on the eastbound side of the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge has been cleared and traffic is flowing, according to the New York State Bridge Authority. The crash, which occurred around 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, was a three-car collision with no injuries, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel. The Bridge Authority said the crash caused significant delays as the cars were cleared from the area.

Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train Identified This story has been updated. A Valhalla teen has been identified as the young man struck and killed by a Metro-North train in Valhalla just north of Commerce Street, according to the MTA. Aaron Dannenbring, 19, was on the tracks around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck by the northbound train, said MTA Spokeswoman Nancy Gamerman. The incident was not an accident, and no criminality was involved, she added. There were about 200 passengers on the train at the time, no one was injured. Man Charged With Burglary In Yorktown Domestic Dispute A 39-year-old man was charged with burglary in Yorktown after entering a home and stealing items during a domestic dispute, according to Yorktown Police. Jamie C. Bradford, of Connecticut, was arrested after police were called to a Yorktown for a domestic dispute from the resident who reported that Bradford had entered his home without permission and stole several items, fleeing before police arrived, police said. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Child A Hudson Valley man has been charged with sexually assaulting a child following an investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Christopher McGhee, 34, of the Town of North East, was arrested for having sexual contact with a child that is known to him, according to Capt. John Watterson. McGhee was taken into custody at his home without incident and charged with one count of felony predatory sexual assault, Watterson said. He is being held without bail at the Dutchess County Jail. Thief Steals iPhones Worth Thousands Off Front Porch In Greenwich A local man lost thousands of dollars in iPhones after a "porch pirate" ripped off the package containing the phones from his front porch, according to Greenwich Police. Remains Of Missing Pearl River Dog Found In Burned House A Pearl River family who were devasted when their home was lost to a fire earlier this month, suffered another blow over the weekend when the remains of a beloved dog who has missing since the fire, were found in the rubble.
