Rollover Taconic Crash Injures One One person was transported to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash on the Taconic State Parkway near LaGrange, according to the New York State Police. Troopers from Troop K in Dutchess County responded to the rollover crash that occurred around 3:45 p.m. Friday, closing one lane of traffic, according to Trooper AJ Hicks. Firefighters with the LaGrange Fire Department extricated the victim with sustained injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, Hicks said. The closed lane has reopened and traffic is moving freely.

Three Caught With Counterfeit Cash, 13 Pounds Of Pot In BMW In Stamford Stamford narcotics officers nailed three local men hanging out in a black BMW on Montauk Drive were busted with more than 13 pounds of marijuana, counterfeit money and packing materials, according to the Stamford Police Department. Bridgeport Shooting Victim Dies After Being On Life Support A Bridgeport teen shot in the head and on life support, died Wednesday night, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Eric Heard, 19, was shot around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday at 28 Price St., police said. Heard was initially reported to be dead, but police later said he was on life support.  Police said at this time the motive for the shooting is unclear and are asking anyone with information, to contact 203-581-5242 or call 203-576-TIPS. His death marks the city’s second homicide of 2018.
