Woman Stole Jewelry, Employer's Credit Card In Greenwich
An area woman working as a domestic for a Greenwich resident ripped off thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, in addition to using the employer's credit card, according to Greenwich Police.
Nicker Brown-Cameron, 38, of Grove Street, in Bridgeport, was charged Wednesday, Jan. 31, with multiple felonies in connection with the thefts that took place last summer, according to Lt. John Slusarz.

A Stamford man who beat, strangled and harassed his girlfriend for months is behind bars following an investigation by the Stamford Police Department.
Brian Gonzalez, 20, of Willowbrook Avenue, was arrested Jan. 30 after the woman managed to escape from Gonzalez and sought help from the Domestic Violence Counseling Center, said Stamford Police Sgt. Jennifer Lynch.

Seen Her? Police Renew Call For Help In Search For Missing Danbury Woman
The Danbury Police Department is renewing its call for help from the public to find a missing Danbury woman who has not been seen since October 2017.
Laelcira DeLima, 53, was last seen on Friday, Oct. 20, at 5 p.m. when she told her two children, ages 15 and 10, that she loved them and was going to a local Walmart to pick up a prescription, said Danbury Police Detective Lt. Christian Carroccio.

Rockland Landlord Collecting Illegal Rents Lands In Jail
A crooked landlord who collected rents from a property seized by Rockland County officials is behind bars following an investigation by the Rockland County Sheriff's Office.
Elazer Dancziger, 61, of New Square, was charged Tuesday, Jan. 30, with three counts of felony grand larceny and scheming to defraud for illegally collecting rent money from tenants who live at 749 Main St., in New Hempstead, said officials with the Sheriff's Office.

Three Caught With Counterfeit Cash, 13 Pounds Of Pot In BMW In Stamford
Stamford narcotics officers nailed three local men hanging out in a black BMW on Montauk Drive were busted with more than 13 pounds of marijuana, counterfeit money and packing materials, according to the Stamford Police Department.
The bust went down after members of the narcotics unit approached the three men, Kevin Tobar-Castillo, 21; Johan Cifuentes, 30, and Christopher Torres, 21, all of Stamford, in the vehicle and noticed two large bags of marijuana on the floorboard of the vehicle, said Capt. Richard Conklin.
The bag contained about 2.2 pounds of pot, he added.
