She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. Central Hudson Says Power 'Steadily Returning' To Customers As electric service steadily returns to thousands of powerless mid-Hudson Valley residents, Central Hudson officials said all should have power restored by Tuesday. According to Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. officials service has been restored to 97,000 customers, and as of 7 a.m. Monday, approximately 12,500 customers remained without electricity.  Of those, some 10,000 outages are in the most heavily impacted areas of northern Dutchess County, Central Hudson said. Two Teens Charged With Burglarizing Cars In Stamford Two Stamford teens were arrested for burglarizing eight cars on the East Side, according to Capt. Rich Conklin. The teens -- ages 16 and 17 -- were caught about 9 p.m. Wednesday on Limerick street by Stamford officers who were patrolling the area after receiving a 911 call from a resident, Conklin said. When the officers responded to the scene, they were able to spot three teens within about two minutes, police said.
