Brush Fire Burns 20 Acres In Arlington One firefighter was slightly injured and more than 30 firefighters battled a brush fire that burned more than 20 acres near Van Wagner Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie, according to Arlington Fire Chief Tory Gallante. Man Throws Rock Through Window In Stony Point Domestic Dispute, Police Say A Stony Point man was arrested after throwing a rock through a window during a domestic dispute. Dominick Varano, 31, was arrested Wednesday after Stony Point police responded to a residence on Wayne Avenue regarding a domestic dispute, said Lt. Daniel Hylas. No injuries were reported in dispute, but there was property damage that was caused by Varano allegedly throwing a rock through a bedroom window of the residence, he said. Varano was charged with criminal mischief and bail was set at $100. He is set to appear in court on April 26.

Cos Cob Man Resists Arrest After Physical Assault, Police Say A Cos Cob man is behind bars after resisting arrest following a physical assault, said Greenwich Police. The incident took place around 3 a.m. Sunday when police responded to call of a physical assault on Post Road in Cos Cob, the arrest report said. According to the report, Frank Molina, 34, failed to comply with officer's instructions and “confronted officers in an aggressive manner.”  He was forcibly restrained while being handcuffed, the report added. Molina was charged with assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He is being held on $10,000 bail.
