Wilton Police Nab Woman Wanted For Harassment A local woman appearing in Norwalk Superior Court was nabbed by Wilton Police on an outstanding warrant for harassing another person and damaging a vehicle, Wilton Police said. Melissa Lee Hernandez, 28, of Waterbury, was arrested Monday for an incident that took place in November when she is accused of causing damage to a vehicle over a former boyfriend and for continuing to threaten and harass the victim after being ordered not to, said Wilton Police Lt. Thousands Still Without Power In Orange County Thousands of Orange and Rockland residents are still without power as employees with O&R Utilities work feverishly to restore power amid hundreds of downed trees and lines. As of 10 a.m., Rockland County had 2,444 residents without power and Orange County had 8,471, company officials said.  The company's website said it hoped to have power restored to many by 1 p.m., with the more extreme repairs running later.  Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Two Killed In Fairfield County During Storm Two Fairfield County residents were killed and several injured as a high-powered storm system ripped through the area downing trees and power lines. A 41-year-old New Fairfield woman was killed around 5 p.m. Tuesday on Brush Hill Road when a tree fell on her vehicle, pinning her inside, said Connecticut State Trooper Sgt. Eric Haglund. Man Nabbed Attempting To Make Bank Withdrawl With Fake ID In Greenwich Greenwich Police arrested a man for attempting to make a fraudulent withdraw from a local bank using a fake ID, according to police. Tyree Dulani Lomax, 40, of the Bronx, was arrested around noon Monday after police received information that Lomax was attempting to withdraw money from the Chase Bank, 111 West Putnam Ave., said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.  When located, Lomax was in possession of a fake driver's license and credit card, Slusarz said.
