2-Year-Old Found Dead In Shelton Pool A 2-year-old boy drowned Monday in a swimming pool owned by a relative. The boy was discovered around 11 a.m. at a home on Copper Penny Lane in Shelton by a relative where he was staying for the day, according to the Shelton Police. Shelton Police and EMS responded to the scene and the boy was transported to St Vincent’s Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Passenger In Vehicle Stopped On I-95 Caught With Crack, Gives Officer Fake Name, Police Say A 45-year-old Fairfield County woman who was a passenger in a car stopped for a routine traffic violation ended up in handcuffs after drugs were found, police said. Natasha Randolph of Bridgeport was charged around 3 a.m. Sunday when Milford officers stopped the vehicle on I-95 near the on-ramp of Exit 34. During the stop, Randolph was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine, according to Milford Police. She was also charged with interfering with an arrest after giving police a fake name, the arrest report said. She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court on Oct. 30.

The incident took place around 4 a.m. Monday when a Fairfield police officer patrolling the area of Pequot Avenue observed a suspicious vehicle traveling on Westway Road, said Fairfield Police Lt. Man Leaves 'I Can Still Kill You' Voicemail, Greenwich Police Say A 48-year-old man was arrested for allegedly harassing a victim by text and voicemails and telling the person "Remember, I can still kill you." Kevin P. Joyce of Greenwich was arrested at his home on Quarry Knolls after responding to a report of ongoing harassment made on Sunday, said Greenwich Police. According to the arrest report, the victim told officers Joyce had been texting and leaving voicemails of a harassing nature.  He was charged with harassment and released on a promise to appear ticket. Joyce is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 22.

Man Shot During Argument In Bridgeport One person was shot during an argument in Bridgeport Sunday morning. The incident took place around 10 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Stratford and Carroll Avenues, near Sunnyside Market, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. The man was shot in the leg and was taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Harris said. Caregiver Steals $11,000 From Employer In Westport, Police Say A caregiver was arrested for identity theft and other charges after forging more than $11,000 in checks from the woman she cared for. Vilma Marroquin-Enrriquez, 45, of the Bronx, turned herself in on a warrant Wednesday at Westport Police Headquarters following an investigation into the thefts, said Westport Police.
