Stamford Restaurant Caught Selling Alcohol Without License Stamford police seized more than 10 cases of beer from a restaurant that was selling alcohol without a permit during an undercover operation. Stamford police had received information regarding liquor being sold at the Rincon Latino at 449 West Main St., without a permit, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin. Man Severely Burned Following Electrocution While Trimming Trees In Montgomery A 33-year-old who was electrocuted while trimming trees has been flown to a special burn unit out of state. The man, who works for Par 5 Landscaping, was trimming trees around 12:41 p.m., Tuesday at 318 Lake View Drive, in the Town of Montgomery when either his tool or the branches touched a live power line, said Montgomery Police Sgt. An overturned vehicle crash that initially closed one lane of traffic caused delays on I-87 in Orange County, state police said. The crash took place around 11:38 a.m. Tuesday northbound in Tuxedo Park, said Trooper Michael Costello. The right northbound lane was closed for a short time as the car was removed. Stratford Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Minor Known To Him A 40-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor. James Aho of Stratford was arrested Thursday by Naugatuck Police on an active warrant in connection with a sexual assault complaint filed on Aug. 6, Naugatuck police said. An arrest report said Aho is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile victim who is known to him. He was charged with five counts of sexual assault, five counts of illegal contact with a child under 16, four counts of risk of injury to a child and strangulation. He is being held on $300,000 bond.
