The department was able to obtain Dennis, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois, through a donation from Sonitrol Verified Security Systems in memory of its founder, Dennis F. Hickey. Hickey was a member of the Bridgeport business community for five decades. He founded Sonitrol Security Systems with his wife, Joan Hickey in 1973. Felon, 23, Faces Drug, Gun Charges In Stamford A Stamford felon on the state's Deadly Weapons Registry has been arrested for possession of drugs and for having another gun with the serial numbers removed, according to the Stamford Police. Jonathan Orellana, 23, a recent parole was arrested Saturday afternoon after officers with the Drug and Organized Task Force received word that he was in possession of a weapon, said Stamford Capt. Stephen Harris,  age and address unknown, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 25 by USPS-OIG agents and New York State Police, and charged with official misconduct and obstruction of public servants generally, said Jeffrey Powers, Assistant Special Agent In Charge with the U.S. Postal Service, Inspector General's Office. Man Falls While Cutting Tree At Home In Westport A man was injured when he fell from a bucket truck and landed on a truck below while cutting a tree in Westport. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. Monday on Bumble Bee Lane, said Lt. Jillian Cabana with the Westport Police. The man, who works for a tree cutting service in Norwalk, was transported to Norwalk Hospital with unknown injuries, police said.
