Gavin Williams, address unknown, was arrested Tuesday after police responded to headquarters regarding a man causing a disturbance inside, scaring several civilians, said Lt. John Slusarz. LED Lighting Manufacturer Will Close Hudson Valley Facility, Resulting In 136 Layoffs A manufacturer of LED lighting has announced it will close its plant in the Hudson Valley next year. Cincinnati-based LSI Industries Inc., a maker of LED lighting, gave notice to the state that it will be shutting its Orange County facility in New Windsor and laying off 136 employees. According to the state Department of Labor, LSI Industries will begin the first layoffs on Jan. 28, 2019 and be completed by June 30, 2019.  The final closing date for the plant is June 30th according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice filed with the Department of Labor. Hutchinson Parkway Back Up To Speed Following Tractor-Trailer Crash That Closed Lane Traffic is back up to speed on the Hutchinson River Parkway after a tractor-trailer wedged itself under an overpass, backing up traffic for miles during the afternoon. The truck hit the underpass about 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, blocking one southbound lane at East Lincoln Avenue. Westchester County police said the rig, which was carrying metal products, was clipped by a car after hitting the overpass.  Police said no one was injured.

Deer Attack: Parking Enforcement Officer Injured By Buck In Northern Westchester A Northern Westchester parking enforcement officer has been hospitalized after being attacked by a deer on her property located on the Montrose/Verplanck border. According to Michael Preziosi, director of the town’s Department of Technical Services, the unidentified employee in Cortlandt was attacked at her private residence.
