Residents Living In Building Illegally Escape Fire At Westchester Home Residents living illegally in a building without any working utilities were able to escape without injury when a fire broke out in the basement area of a Yonkers home, the Yonkers Fire Department said. The fire, at 51 Victor Street, was reported to the Yonkers Fire Department around 3 a.m. Tuesday, said Assistant Chief John Bonanno, Firefighters from Battalion 1 arrived within a minute and confirmed there was a working structure fire located in the basement of the two-and-a-half story wood-frame building. Two Charged For Social Media Photo Threatening Wilton High School Two juveniles have been charged in connection with the posting of an online photo of a teen holding a gun along with a threat to Wilton High School students. The two unnamed juveniles were arrested by Wilton Police on Thursday, Jan. 25, and charged with breach of peace as a result of an investigation of the event that occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 15, said Wilton Police Lt. Stamford Woman, 22, Found Dead At Subway Station With 1-Year-Old Girl Nearby A 22-year-old woman was found dead at the bottom of a bank of stairs inside the Seventh Avenue subway station in Manhattan with a 1-year-old by her side. NYPD officers responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female at the station at around 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, said a spokesperson for the NYPD. Poughkeepsie Employee Nabbed For Grand Larceny A 24-year-old man was arrested for grand larceny after allegedly being caught making several fraudulent returns at a business where he was employed. Jesse P. Jones, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 25, following a complaint by loss prevention personnel at Ocean State Job Lots on North Road, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt.
