Three men were arrested after allegedly attempting to take money out of a bank account using false identification.
The three men, Jason Howard, 39; Daquan Davis, 24, both of New York City, and Sherman Alston, 23, of Clifton, New Jersey, were arrested Saturday, June 1, following an investigation into an alleged bank-fraud attempt at a branch bank on Greenwich Avenue, said the Greenwich Police.

Woman, 27, Charged In Connection To Fatal Overdose In Area
A 27-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the fatal overdose death of another woman she had allegedly sold heroin with fentanyl.
Ashley Parker, 27, of Huguenot, was arrested on Friday, May 31 by Port Jervis Police after the death of a 37-year-old Port Jervis woman, said Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden.
Following an investigation, Parker allegedly sold a quantity of heroin with fentanyl to the female prior to her death, Worden said.

Grandmother Scam Arrest Made In Rockville Centre
A man who allegedly scammed a grandmother out of thousands of dollars has been arrested after picking up a package containing money sent by the victim.
Dashill Jean, 32, of Rosedale, was arrested around 8:22 a.m., Thursday, May 30, and charged with grand larceny in Rockville Centre, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, on Thursday, May 20, a female victim, 83, was contacted at her Ohio residence by an unknown caller to inform her that her grandson was arrested, police said.

ID Released For Man, 32, Fatally Stabbed Inside Home In Merrick
Police have identified a man who was founded stabbed to death over the weekend at a home in Merrick.
Evan Grabelsky, 32, of Merrick, was found around 11:44 p.m., Saturday, June 1, when the Nassau County Police Homicide Squad responded to call for a stabbing victim, said the Nassau County Police.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found Grabelsky inside an Elliot Street home with multiple stab wounds, including defense wounds on his arms and hands, police said.

Two Dead In Fiery I-84 Crash Involving Three Tractor-Trailers, School Bus
A fiery four-vehicle crash on I-84 has left two people dead and the highway closed with miles-long back-ups.
The crash, between three tractor-trailers and an empty school bus in East Hartford, took place around 5:10 a.m., Monday, June 3, between exits 55 and 56, when a tractor-trailer rear-ended a school bus, said Connecticut State Police Sgt. Dwight Washington during a press conference.
