Man Found Dead By Hikers In Mianus River Park Identified As Local Resident A man found dead in Mianus River Park in Greenwich over the weekend has been identified as a local resident in his 60s. The man, whose name has not been released, was found by a hiker in the park on Saturday, June 8, said Greenwich Police. "We have not released his name and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death," Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz said. Police are not releasing the name until a cause of death has been released in the event his death is ruled a suicide. A preliminary investigation determined there was no threat to the public.

ID Released For Man Who Dies After Jeep Rolls Over During Medical Event On LIE Police have released the identity of a Manorville man who died following a crash on the LIE after suffering a medical emergency. William Thomas, 60, died around 4:50 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, after crashing while driving on the Long Island Expressway, said the Suffolk County Police. Thomas was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot westbound on the LIE, just east of exit 70, when it veered off the road and overturned, police said.
