Second Killer Denied Parole In Pearl River Girl's Murder
The mother of a Pearl River teenager brutally murdered and sexually assaulted by two men in 1980 is celebrating the denial of parole for one of the men convicted of the crime.
Lois Bohovesky, 86, of Pearl River, said she is "delighted," that Robert McCain, one of the men convicted in the1980 murder of her 16-year-old daughter Paula Bohovesky, as she walked home from her part-time job at the local library.
"I still think of her every day and our family accepts this with glad tidings," she said.

Northern Westchester Teens Charged With Spending Thousands On Stolen Credit Card At JV Mall
Four Westchester teens were arrested after allegedly charging thousands on a stolen credit card at the Jefferson Valley Mall.
The four, including Jarron Williams, 19, of Mogehan Lake; Anton Birnel, 19, of Peekskill, and two underage juveniles, were arrested around 8 p.m., Saturday, June 15, after Yorktown Police received a call from a resident saying his credit card company had notified him his card was being used for numerous purchases at the mall, said the Yorktown Police. The other two arrested were juveniles whose names were not released.

Former Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Captain Accused Of Stealing Thousands From Department
A former Manhasset-Lakeville fire captain has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $10,000 from a bank account used by the department.
Alex November, 30, of Glen Cove, was arrested on Thursday, June 20 and charged with grand larceny, 12 counts of falsifying business records, and official misconduct, said the Nassau County District Attorney's Office.
