She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Man, Woman Drown Off Far Rockaway Coast A man and woman were found dead on the shoreline of Far Rockaway beach Tuesday, July 9, after another person they were with called the police for help. The couple, Keylon Ramsay, 28, and Umarie Chamble, 25, both of Inwood, were found around 10:20 p.m., in the area of Beach 9th Street and Seagrild Boulevard, after police responded to a 911 call from the third person, said the NYPD. Pair Of Greenwich Police Officers Promoted Two Greenwich police officers were recently promoted by Chief James Heavey during a special ceremony at police headquarters. Master Police Officer Gregory Parrillo was promoted to detective and Officer Fred Reisch was promoted to school resource officer. Heavey commented on both officer’s exceptional histories with the department and noted how important it is to have officers who are as dedicated both of the men. Also attending the ceremony were Capt. Robert Berry, captain of detectives, and fellow officers.
