Officials with the Nassau County Missing Persons Squad said Jaylin Scott was last seen by a staff member of the Mercy First Facility around 9:30 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 22. He is described as a male black, 5-foot-6, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His clothing description and possible destination are unknown. Rocco DePaolo was killed in Dobbs Ferry around 9:25 p.m., Friday, Sept. 20, while crossing the intersection of Broadway (Route 9) and Maple Street, said the Village of Dobbs Ferry Police. DePaolo, who graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School in 1945, was inside a crosswalk when the dark-colored vehicle hit him, police said. One Person Shot Near Trumbull Gardens Housing Complex Police are sorting out the pieces of an early morning shooting that landed one person in the hospital with gunshot wounds. The incident took place around 12:14 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, near the Trumbull Gardens public housing complex in Bridgeport, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police. The unidentified victim was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center, Jones said. Police did not release the victim's condition but did say the wound is non-life threatening. The crash took place in Putnam around 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 23, on I-84 near Exit 17, in Kent, when a mobile home towing an SUV and was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hhicks. "Traffic was slowing and the tractor-trailer driver didn't stop in time," he said. "The crash caused the SUV to come loose from the mobile home. No serious injuries were reported, Hicks said.
