Wake, Funeral Scheduled For Nypd Police Officer Who Lived In Westchester
Service arrangements for Brian Mulkeen, the slain NYPD officer from Orange County who lived in Northern Westchester will be held later this week.
Mulkeen, 33, of Yorktown Heights, was shot and killed while wrestling with an armed suspect just after 12:30 Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Edenwald Houses in the Bronx.
A visitation will be held in Orange County from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home at 117 Maple Ave. East, in Monroe, according to the funeral home said.

Vigil Held For Norwalk Teen Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree In Darien
The family and friends of a Norwalk teen killed in a car crash in Darien held a vigil in front of his home to honor and mourn his passing.
Many brought candles and balloons to remember Victor Emmanuel Deleon, 19, of Norwalk, who died around 6:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 29, when the Volkswagen Passat he was a passenger in crashed into a tree.
The driver of the Passat, a 19-year-old Norwalk woman, “veered off the road to the right for an unknown reason,” after taking the Exit 10 off-ramp from I-95, Connecticut State Police said.

Services Scheduled For Teen Killed In Mahopac Crash
Services have been scheduled for a Mahopac teen killed after crashing his car into a tree.
John Rossetti, 18, was killed around 11:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26, when his gray Honda Civic struck the tree on Woodbine Drive, came to rest on its passenger side, and then the engine block and tree burst into flames, said Carmel Police Lt. John Dearman.
Rossetti was born to John Rossetti and Cherie Purdy on March 17, 2001, in Yonkers. He grew up in Mahopac and attended Mahopac High School.

Long Island Man Admits To Raping, Assaulting Woman
A 25-year-old Long Island man has pleaded guilty to the brutal rape and assault of a woman in Freeport last year.
Ever Martinez-Reyes, of Roosevelt, pleaded guilty Thursday, Sept. 26, to two counts of felony rape, two counts of sexual abuse, and four counts of assault, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office said.
He is expected to be sentenced to 20 years in prison in addition to 20 years post-release supervision and to register as a sexual offender, the DA's Office said.

Police: Thief Busted After Lifting Keys From Gym Locker, Stealing BMW From Rockland Parking Lot
A New City man was busted for grand larceny after he allegedly stole a key fob at a local gym and then drove away in the 2013 BMW that was parked outside.
Michael T. Heidtman, 38, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 24, following the incident that took place on Monday, Sept. 23, at the Vison Sports Club in Pearl River, said Orangetown Police Det. Sgt. James Sullivan.
According to Sullivan, Heidtman allegedly entered the gym locker room around 8:45 p.m., Monday and removed the set of keys which contained a fob to the BMW, Sullivan said.

Bridgeport Stabbing Suspect Considered Armed, Dangerous
Police are warning the public not to approach a man who is wanted for the stabbing of a woman on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport.
