Westchester Woman Escapes After Being Tied Up, Robbed At Gunpoint
The NYPD is asking the public's help identifying two men wanted in connection to a robbery in which a woman was tied up and robbed before escaping.
The incident took place around 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov.19, in Yonkers on the corner of Unionport Road and Metropolitan Oval, when a 30-year-old Westchester.woman, whom the New York Post, reported as being a transgender prostitute, entered a black SUV where she encountered a man she knew and a second unidentified man, said the NYPD.

Two people were injured, one seriously, during a two-vehicle crash on Long Island.
It happened around 9 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Bohemia, southbound on Sycamore Avenue, said the Suffolk County Police.
According to police, the crash occurred when a 51-year-old man was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound on Sycamore Ave., making a left turn into a parking lot, when his vehicle struck a northbound 2017 Hyundai SUV.

Suffolk Woman Killed After Being Hit By Husband's Car Was Married To P.C. Richard's Grandson
The Long Island woman who died earlier this week after she was struck by a car driven by her husband was married to a member of the family that owns and operates the P.C. Richard & Son chain of stores.
Nancy Richard, 79, was killed around 7:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 2, when her husband, Peter Richard, 83, was backing out of the driveway of their home on Concord Drive and hit his wife as she returned from walking their grandchild to the bus stop, police said.

Man Accused Of Stabbing Two Cab Drivers In Face With Screwdriver
A 34-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing two cab drivers in the face with a screwdriver in the area.
Gimel Kimble, of Monticello, was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 3, after police responded to a report of an assault in the area of Broadway and Jefferson Street in the Village of Monticello, Lt. Mark Johnstone said.
The incident took place around 12:08 a.m., when the two victims, both cab drivers for the same company, were in the process of a shift change in a parking lot when they were approached by another man, Johnstone said.

An area man was busted for allegedly selling pot out of his apartment window.
Richard Desmond, 27, of Stamford, was busted on Friday, Nov. 29, after Stamford Narc squad officers set-up surveillance on his Greenwich Avenue apartment and saw him dealing pot out of his window, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
Officers waited until he left his apartment where he was seen making a deal on the street, Conklin said.

Man Accused Of Beating, Kicking, Attempting To Choke Woman During Dispute In Area
A 49-year-old area man was arrested for allegedly beating and attempting to choke a woman during a domestic dispute.
Shawn P. Cummings, of Saugerties, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 1, after Saugerties Police responded to a report of domestic violence, Chief Joseph Sinagra said.
Cummings was arrested following an investigation into the domestic dispute during which Cummings allegedly placed his hands around the neck of the victim, and squeezed his hands, obstructing the victim’s ability to breath, the chief said.

32-Year-Old Area Woman Killed In Crash Was Miss Pakistan World
A 32-year-old area woman who died in a single-vehicle crash in Maryland was Miss Pakistan World in 2012.
Rockland County resident Zanib Naveed, of Pomona, was killed around 11:40 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1, in Prince George's County on Route 1, said the Maryland State Police.
According to police, Naveed was driving a 2018 Mercedes CL2 eastbound on the Inter-County Connector, when she went around a curve, hit a curb and overturned into oncoming traffic, state police said.
