Richard Desmond, 27, of Stamford, was busted on Friday, Nov. 29, after Stamford Narc squad officers set-up surveillance on his Greenwich Avenue apartment and saw him dealing pot out of his window, said Stamford Police Capt. Two-Alarm House Fire Breaks Out In Area Firefighters from numerous departments braved freezing temperatures and snow as they battled a two-alarm early morning house fire in the area. The fire started around midnight in the basement of a house on Chappaqua Road in the Lake Carmel section of Kent, said Lake Carmel Fire Chief T.J. Donohue. Area Man Held For Violating Protective Order A Central Nyack man is being held without bail after allegedly violating a protective order. Anthony Gulifield, 53, was arrested around 9:15 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 28, in Stony Point, and charged with criminal contempt with a previous conviction, said Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel Hylas. Gulifield was arrested after police responded to a home on Thiells Road on a report of domestic violence, Hylas said.
