Kilo Of Heroin, Pounds Of Pot, Stolen Gun, Pills Discovered In Stratford Bust An investigation into drug sales in Fairfield County has led to the arrest of two men and netted the discovery of a kilo of heroin, guns, pounds of pot, and pills. Kevin Tobar, 23, and Jonathan Matos, 28, both of Stratford, were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 7, by Stratford Police, said Capt. Frank Eannotti. Car Crashes Into Post In Front Of Popular Bagel Shop In Area Bagel lovers received a little more than just cream cheese when a car hit the front of the popular bagel shop in the area. The incident happened in Rockland County at around 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 9, at John's Famous Bagels, at 305 S Little Tor Rd in New City, said the Clarkstown Police. According to police, the driver of a vehicle drove over a curb and into a post causing it to strike another vehicle. The New City Fire Department and the building department were on the scene and deemed the building safe to resume business. No injuries were reported.

Missing Wilton Man Found Dead A 53-year-old missing Fairfield County man has been found dead by police. Todd Davies, 53, of Wilton, who was reported missing on Wednesday, Jan. 8, was found dead on Thursday, Jan. 9, said Wilton Police Capt. Robert Cipolla.
