Brazen Burglars On Loose After Breaking In While Residents Were In Long Island Home, Police Say Police are investigating a burglary that took place during broad daylight while the residents were in their Long Island home. The burglary took place around 1:10 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10, at a home on Lockwood Drive, in Shirley, said the Suffolk County Police Three people were home, but no one was injured. At least two suspects fled the scene, police said. Additional information was not available. Anthony Brown, 31, of Hempstead, was arrested for an assault that took place on Sunday, July 14, 2019, in Lakeview, said the Nassau County Police. Christopher Kocak, of Milford, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 9, by Milford Police after being contacted by the  Iberia, Louisiana Sheriff’s Office in regards to a fraud that occurred on Nov. 11, 2019, said Milford Police.
