Sheriff's deputies responded to the Putnam Diner on Saturday, Feb. 1, on Route 22 in Patterson after receiving a call that a human skull had been found in the woods, said the Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived, they were met by a 35-year-old Carmel man who told deputies he was walking through the woods when he saw what he believed to be a human skull, the department said. Rockland County resident Aharon Greenfield, 34, of Monsey, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 12, for the burglary that took place on Friday, Jan. 31, said Clarkstown Police Office Norman Peters. Person Found Dead In Driver's Seat After Fiery Route 9W Crash, Police Say One person was killed following a single-vehicle crash and fire on a section of Route 9W. It happened in Orange County around 12:38 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 12, on the southbound side in Cornwall, said Cornwall Police Chief Todd Hazard. Daveaun Whittle, of Haverstraw, was in a cab on the way to court on Jan. 7, when, thinking he might be sent to jail, let the dog loose in Spring Valley hoping it would find a home, said Spring Valley Police Officer Matthew Galli. Man Disseminated Nude Photos Without Permission, State Police Say A 32-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly disseminating nude photos without permission. Ulster County resident Michael Redding, of Lloyd, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and charged with two counts of unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.
