Single-Vehicle Crash Closes Major Rockland Roadway A major roadway in Rockland County is closed due to a traffic crash that also knocked down power lines. The crash took place just before 9 a.m., Friday, Feb. 14, on South Little Tor Road in Clarkstown, said Clarkstown Police Officer Norman Peters. According to Peters, a car struck a utility pole and wires are down across the roadway.  South Little Tor Rd. is closed between Deerwood Drive and New Valley Road, he said. Chick-fil-a Robbed At Gunpoint During Breakfast Rush, Norwalk Police Say Police are searching for an armed robber who held up a Fairfield County Chick-fil-al during the breakfast rush. The robbery took place around 7 a.m., Friday, Feb. 14, at the Chick-fil-a located at 467 Connecticut Ave., in Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler. Responding officers arrived on scene and confirmed a robbery did take place, Zwickler said. No one was injured and police are still on the scene investigating. Marcellus Ferrell, 32, of Patterson, was apprehended on Saturday, Feb. 8, when stopped by Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Osika for a traffic violation, said the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
