Long Island Stolen SUV Chase Ends In Crash, Injury To Police Officer A chase of two vehicles, including a stolen SUV, ended with a crash and an injury to an officer on Long Island.  The incident began around 4 a.m., Friday,  April 17, when a Nassau County Police patrol officer noticed a newer model gray Jeep Cherokee and a 2016 Lincoln Navigator driving southbound on Glen Cove Road in East Hills at a high rate of speed, police said. ID Released For Woman Found Dead In Fairfield Home A 54-year-old Fairfield woman found dead inside her home has been identified by police. Nancy K.
