Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into Saw Mill Parkway Overpass In Northern Westchester Whoops.  A tractor-trailer hit an overpass on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Chappaqua shearing off the top of the vehicle. The incident took place southbound around 10:10 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, at the bridge at Route 120, said the Westchester County Police. No one was injured and luckily, the tractor-trailer was empty.  It took just took a while to remove the truck from under the bridge. Traffic was not impacted, police said.

Passenger Killed After Car Crashes Into Utility Pole On Route 9W A passenger in a vehicle that crashed into a utility pole on Route 9W was killed. The single-vehicle crash took place around 1:22 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, in Ulster County in the town of Saugerties. When Saugerties police responded to a 911 call they found a 2000 Honda Accord had hit the pole after leaving the east shoulder of the roadway,  said Saugerties Chief of Police Joseph Sinagra. Dutchess County resident Scott C. Daniele, of Stanford, was arrested on Wednesday, April 15, by the New York State Police for grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and falsifying business records, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
