Firefighter Pulls Unconcious Person From Burning Car At Cemetery In Area An off-duty fire department safety officer pulled an unconscious person from a burning car at a cemetery. The incident took place on Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Grove Cemetery in Naugatuck, said the Naugatuck Fire Department on Facebook. According to the department, firefighters responded to a reported car fire at Grove Cemetery. When they arrived on the scene, they found the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames after the fuel tank exploded and a small brush fire had erupted. Person Struck, Killed By Lirr Train An unidentified person was struck and killed by a train on the Long Island Railroad. The person was hit around 10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Rockville Centre Station by a westbound train, said MTA Spokesman Aaron Donovan. The MTA police are investigating. An early investigation found that the incident appears to be non-criminal, non-accidental in nature.
