Long Island Man Nabbed For Robbery Of Area Restaurant, Police Say
A Long Island man has been arrested for an alleged burglary of an area restaurant.
Dvaille Williams, 25, of Roosevelt, was arrested around 10:15 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, for a burglary that occurred at the Lucky Deli and Grill in Freeport, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, officers were flagged down by a witness that said someone was breaking into the Lucky Deli and Grill, located at 453A North Main Street.
Upon arrival, officers observed broken glass at the front of the deli and a male standing behind the cash register.

Missing Long Island Teen Found
Update:
A 19-year-old Long Islander who went missing has been located.
According to the Nassau County Police Missing Persons Squad, Bobby Drew went missing from his New Cassel group home 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Police announced later in the day that he had been located.

ID Released For 29-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Lirr Train
The identity of a man who was struck and killed by a train on Long Island has been released.
Vincent O’Keefe, 29, of Hempstead, was killed about 10 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Rockville Centre Station by a westbound train, said MTA Spokesman Aaron Donovan.
An early investigation found that the incident appears to be non-criminal, non-accidental in nature.

Four High-End Vehicles Stolen From Driveways In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County police department is reporting that four vehicles have been stolen out of driveways over the past four days.
The thefts took place between Thursday, Nov. 5, and Monday, Nov. 9, in New Canaan, said New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski.
According to Krolikowski, around 9 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6, officers responded to Clapboard Hill Road to investigate a report of two motor vehicles missing from the resident's driveway.

Head-On Crash Sends Tractor-Trailer Into 13 Parked Vehicles On Long Island
A multi-vehicle crash caused a tractor-trailer to smash into 13 vehicles in a Long Island parking lot.
The crash took place around 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, said Southampton Police Lt. Susan Ralph.
Shahab Fadavi-Akhavan, 27, of Sagaponack, was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse eastbound on Montauk Highway by Corrigan's Automotive when a vehicle not involved in the crash stopped short, causing Fadavi-Akhavan to also stop short, police said.
