Teen Shatters State Trooper's Car Windshield After Being Nabbed With Cocaine, Police Say A teen shattered the windshield of a state police vehicle after being caught with alleged cocaine and a digital scale during a traffic stop. The unidentified 18-year-old teen was stopped around 10:23 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, by state police for a traffic violation on William Street in the City of Newburgh, said Trooper S Steven Nevel. During the stop, troopers discovered that the teen did not have a valid driver's license and while searching the vehicle found cocaine and a digital scale, Nevel said. Dutchess Sheriff Warns Of Rash Of High-End Auto Thefts The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is alerting area residents about recent thefts of high-end vehicles. The thefts have occurred mainly in the southeastern part of Dutchess County during the late-night/early-morning hours, said Capt. John Watterson. "So far the perpetrators have stolen vehicles that were either unlocked with the key fobs inside or were running unattended, said Watterson. Stamford Woman Who Drove On Walking Path In New Canaan Under Influence, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after being stopped for driving on a walking path, according to police. Maureen Mullins, 57, of Stamford, was arrested around 10:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, in New Canaan in the area of Waveny Park and New Canaan High School, said police. Duo Charged With Wiping Dog Feces On Neighbor's Door, Police Say Two area residents who allegedly wiped dog feces on the back door of a neighbor was arrested for harassment. Ulster County residents Travis J. Cuvelier, 23, and Ashley E. Amazon Driver Busted For Stealing From Long Island Warehouse, Police Say A Long Island Amazon driver was arrested for grand larceny after he allegedly stole more than $5,000 worth of merchandise from an Amazon warehouse.
