Un-Happy Meal: Police Seek Loudoun Suspect Who Robbed McDonald's Drive-Thru Police are searching for the suspect who robbed a Loudoun County McDonald's drive-thru.At around 11 p.m. on August 3, a rear passenger of a car grabbed the cash register through the drive-thru window, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Police said the silver Chevrolet sedan fled the scene with the register.  The suspect was described as a black man in his late 20's or early 30's, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, red vest, and a blue disposable mask, police reported. Daniel Dill was riding near the intersection of Salem Road and Beckenham Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. on August 2, when he hit another vehicle in the intersection, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.  Dill was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, authorities said.  Virginia Beach police are still investigating the crash.

Prince William County Woman Finally Convicted For 2016 Parking Lot Murder A Prince William County woman was recently convicted of first degree murder from a 2016 shooting, authorities said. Roberta Brandon was allegedly fighting about custody and visitation with Cordrey Jackson in a parking lot, when she shot him in the chest, according to the Prince William County Commonwealth's Attorney.  In early August 2022, she was found guilty by a jury of first-degree murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, officials said. There were no further details given about a prison sentence.
